The problem here is that you're talking about boys, not MEN. Boys aren't worth your time... men are.

I think SisterMadly has the right idea. Any guy can seem perfect at first when he's on his best behavior. It's six months in that you find out how moody, tempermental and selfish they can be. But you know what, everyone on the planet has issues and emotional scars that make them a pain in the ass sometimes. It all comes down to whether or not what's good balances out what's bad, how bad it gets and if you can deal with it.

My boyfriend has caused me a lot of headaches but I know I'm no picnic..... Ahhhh love.

Sorry too lazy to scroll dow nto see who posted it, but whoever wrote that they have had a best friend for 6 years and have strong feelings for them, I say discuss it. Not come out and say look I love you, lol. I mean I was in the EXACT same situation. Me and one of my closest guy friends, we went out, talked on the phone for hours, etc. Everyone else said we ACTED like we were "together" and that it seemed natural. Well I had nary a clue as to how he felt about me, but slowly we both kinda broached the topic of what it would be like if we were more than friends. It started out like "ha, ha, so-and-so thought we were together...would it be weird if..." and eventually we found out we both felt the same way.

In the end we agreed that it would be better for us not to test the waters and potentially ruin a good friendship, but it feels much better to have our feelings out in the open. Also, a little sexual tension/flirtation never hurt anyone! ;)

When people stop being independent and start "needing", then they start to lose their own value and end up being taken advantage of and feeling bad in the end.

boys have their ups and downs.. it seems like every time you want nothing more than a NICE boy you get the badass ones, and everytime you just want a couple dates you get the ones that are like super sweet (to the point of irritation)...
