When I was little, I read books ALL the time, but I always got yelled at because I was sitting around reading when I could have been doing chores. ;)

Oh, and I agree with you all who listed icky horrible GLASSES...mine were the absolute worst because they made me look like an owl! Those things, combined with the 80s hairdo that I thought was oh so stylish, did not make a pretty picture! :D

I totally know what you mean! This is the best- working with older people, and making a comment about like, Nixon's resignation or JFK getting shot and they're like, that's a little before your time, take it from those who lived it, etc. etc.
F$%&! you!!!!! I can read goddamn textbooks, while I might not have had a first eyewitness account I still have a pretty good idea of what went on and the implications it had in history.
