Well it kind of sucks being rejected by some random female that you were crushing on. Although some of these response by the well meaning ladies probably made you feel worse lol . .. I have only a guys advice for you. Take someone better looking than her to the formal and have a great time. Girls hate that sort of thing. The only thing a girl hates worse than a guy they aren't that interested in liking them, is the thought that the guy doesn't like them anymore and is with someone better looking.

Ok, kid...listen. Do something now or regret it later. Go to your formal. Don't let a girl get you down. That's awful. You are beautiful, intelligent and rather entertaining;) . So walk up to the next attractive girl on campus and ask her! Besides, would you really want a girl to babysit all night? Go to make memories with your brothers and to laugh at chapter next week about the shananigans that went on. Those are the things that you will remember.

And on a semi-related note, I actually did go to cheap tickets.com today and check for a flight from here to KY. The cheapest was 198 dollars. I was planning on flying out for your formal and heading to the OAR concert with you on the 27th. ;)Alas, 198 is a dollar amount that I lack severely. But now you know that I tried and what a completely rad kid you are. But hey, you never know... if I can find a cheap train ticket....

i'm going to have to agree with pbpck on this one - cory you should not give up and you should in no way sit this one out. formal is about celebrating your brotherhood and having good times with some of your best friends - ask one of your good girl friends if to do nothing less than have a good time with her and your brothers. or be bold and do ask that cute girl in class that you've noticed - hell i've set sisters up on blind dates with my guy friends - have one of your brothers girlfriends(but only one with good judgement ;)) set you up with a cool sister or friend. either way, i don't think you should miss out on formal.

on that note - i can be in kentucky in like 10 hours or so - kidding :cool:

I'd like to go, honestly...but I'm not all about going solo, all the girls that I'm friends with are either going, or have prior engagments, or are too annoying...something I found out taking a friend once before. Who knows what will happen...think I'll probably just skip out & visit my buddies in Cincy on Saturday. So fear not, I didn't give up after one, most of those I would consider asking are taken...so I'm just screwed...but it's cool.
