I had heard on the news that plates were coming out with GLO's crests and letters already printed on them. This is for Ala. But wouldnt you know it, Ala. is a backwards state and we still dont have them. That has been a while and I have yet to see them. It would be fun to get one. The profits from these plates are to go to the respective org.'s foundation.

I finally checked out the Ga. DMV sitehttp://www.onlinedmv.com/go.pl?to=http://www.dmv.state.ga.us/
State University of West Georgia isn't listed. I've seen WGa tags so I don't know why it isn't on the list. The site says there has to be 500 applications so 500 AGDs have to submit applications. Too bad I couldn't go with the SUWGA emblem and AGD-something. A Georgia standard "prestige" tag has to be 6 characters or less including spaces. At least you get to put down 6 choices. :D Well..it looks like we can finalize the paperwork before Wed. so I better start hopping and think of something.:D :D I'll let y'all know what I get car-wise when its finalized..as for the tag...my brother ordered specialized plates for my niece's new VW before Turkey Day and hadn't gotten them as of last weekend. So I probably won't know until I get the envelope..gee...sounds like Bid Day, doesn't it! |
And the new plate will be..
