I'm a sophomore now and I missed the recent spring recruitment because I have a lot of commitments and I knew I wouldn't put my all into it and I have to get stellar grades this semester because of internships and etc. But sometimes, i can't help but feel slightly jealous about the excitement that the girls feel. I'm not sure why you think your second semester sophomore year is going to be your hardest/busiest semester in college. Academics are always important, not just this semester. Either you can manage your time or you can't. You might want to reevaluate whether you can manage your time enough to contribute for your final 3 semesters (assuming you even get a bid).
If you're only considering 5 chapters, you will probably be sorely disappointed. If any chapters have recruitment opportunities later this semester or in the fall, you might want to check those out, even if they're not in your top 5. |
