why are you messing with her Kuumba and Kujichagulia? Shouldn't this be about Ujima? ;) |
Oh...Here we go again! Look, just because noone wanted to give you a bid doesn't mean you need to start your own sorority.
Maybe you should work on getting a better attitude and looking at the incredible organizations already on your campus. You'd be LUCKY to get a bid from any of the NPCs/ NPHCs. |
What is it with the entitlement brats these days?

Of course the most interesting irony of this thread is that two of the people chastising the OP belong to a small sorority that hasn't even had its 13th anniversary yet. I wonder if their founders had a case of founderitis too?

Also something I don't think has been mentioned yet, sure the OP can found a sorority, but does she realize and understand it will be nowhere near the sorority experience she would be looking for. Her whole time at college will be filled with worries about numbers, how to get people to take you seriously, etc., etc. If the OP is infact sucessful only 5-10 years down the road (maybe) will members be actually participating in greek life the way she wishes to participate. |

Dear god, I know there have been a lot of topics like this lately, but there is a way to be straightforward without being downright rude.

And what exactly is ironic about my beloved organization celebrating its 13th anniversary on March 9, 2010? How does asking this young lady to examine why she would chose to found a new sorority rather than join an existing one (whether by joining an active chapter or by chartering a chapter) constitute chastising? My Org's history has nothing to do with my beloved Nine Black Diamonds suffering from 'founderitis' Thank you though for taking the time out to look up my sorority's founding date in an attempt to disrespect my org, my Soror and me. *no beef though, its only the internet* |
