Wedding Dilemma
First, you should kick his sorry, no-good behind, then call your friends and ALL of your family members that were invited to the wedding and have them ALL rain down on his @$$, NYC ghetto style!!! :D After he recovers, I'd take him to Judge Judy or Judge Joe Brown and sue him for the maximum ($5000). Make sure you keep the ring, girl! You deserve it!!! This is a prime example why sooo many women think that all men are DOGS!!! If this were a MasterCard commercial, the priceless part would be the can of whoop @$$ your peeps would have opened on him. HELLO!!!

Re: Wedding Dilemma
I agree he really needs some sense knocked into him. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/rough/twak.gif I'm sorry, I'm usually a reasonable person, but he would have definately bring out the GHETTO in me...he needs his a$$ whupped--project style (like he stole sumpin')http://www.plauder-smilies.de/rough/rocketwhore.gif...But, if you take this route be careful b/c people are crazy. I don't condone my people going on tv being made fools of, so I would advise against it (even though he will look bad, not her, he will make all Black men look bad--now if he is White, then, gorightonahead!!!)...But I wold take him to small claims court if he did not return HALF of the money from the expenses to me...
Now, secondly, WHY (WHY WHY???!!!) was she "dating" him for that long?????? Sistas, this is not acceptable...she should've known he was no good if they weren't married back then... ***Shaking my head*** That's alright though---God doesn't like ugly, and he will get his (in court, if necessary). http://www.plauder-smilies.de/rough/smileydies.gif |
Oh My!!!!
I had that happen to a friend of mine too. I agree with most of the post. I think that anytime is appropriate. It saves all the future heartache.
My thing is and I told my friend this too: You should know if that man is going to marry you or not two years is ok, definately in five, but after that, that's convience or just because. In my opinion, a man isn't going to marry you. |
I had a health class last year and my teacher, who is a White man, told my class two things:
1. Guys and girls have the exact same ideas about marriage. Guys just have these ideas much later in life than girls do. ;) 2. There should be a two year rule on relationships. If within those two years the guy hasn't proposed or had any discussion with you about marriage, then kick him to the curb. He's not worth wasting any more time on because he's probably not going to marry you. Am I right or wrong, ladies??? My mother made that mistake and my parents have been together for 29 years and they NEVER GOT MARRIED!!! And to top that off, I found out two years ago that my father had a child outside of the relationship he has with my mother. My half sister is 6 months older than my sister who comes after me. The good thing is that I now have a niece whom I love very much :), but I'm still learning to forgive my father for his infidelity and for keeping this a secret for almost 20 YEARS!!! But that's a whole other story and that's not here or there. |
ditto what everyone has said EXCEPT keeping the ring. why would want a reminder of this trife mo-fo? if this happened to me & i picked out the ring, MAYBE I'd keep it but most likely i'd return it & use the moeny to take myself on a trip.
