Don't worry. If you did, you'll just have to get back and track. The weight will come off.

On the other hand think positive that you didn't. I thought I gained weight last week but I actually lost 4 pounds!

Good luck tonight!

Congrats on all the losses ladies!! That's fantastic! :D

I did horribly last week, so I kind of quit counting points around Tuesday. :o I started over again yesterday and went over because I was frustrated with my husband and that forced me to eat cookie after cookie. But today is a new day, and I'm even going to the gym tonight. I haven't stepped on a scale since last week because I'm kind of afraid of what it'll say. I'm doing WW on my own (using Winning Points) so I don't have meetings to keep me accountable.

I can't wait until it gets warm out again and I can start going on walks outside. I hate that in the winter I have no motivation to get off the couch!

I gainged 1.4lbs this week ... oh well you gain some and lose some

CatStarESP4 02-04-2004 03:48 AM

I went to my meeting and I gained 0.8 pounds. I was briefly a little upset. I forgave myself and am more determined to lose more weight.

Did they teach about the Quickstart program yet?

It's designed to jump start your weightloss, or help those that might have gained some weight take it off. The quick start program is 20 points plus the 35 flex points for the week. They tell you not to do the quick start program for more that 2 weeks because you'll probably start to feel hungry and then of course you'll binge. Unless your regular points value is 20 then this really doesn't make much of a difference. I've thought about doing it, but since I'm losing weight I might just wait till my weight loss needs a little extra boost.

ETA: You did the right thing. Forgive yourself and move on. If you beat yourself up about a little weight gain you'll just get upset and probably turn to food.

Kepp up the excellent work ladies. You can do it!

So I only lost 1 lb this past week but I wasn't expecting to loose any so I am excited.

That's great. Congratulations! It's better than nothing...or gaining weight!

I on the other hand just had 2 slices of pizza. It looks like cucumber for supper tonight :D

working out?

Is everyone working out or just following points?

ISUKappa 02-06-2004 12:03 AM

I try to exercise, but I'm lucky if I get 1-2 workouts a week in. I know I could make time for more, but with it being winter, I can't walk outside like I do in the spring/summer/fall and with our puppy, I can't get to the gym 3 nights a week like I used to before we got her (hubby works late so I usually have to get home right after work to let her out and play).

I definitely notice a difference between when I exercise x times a week and follow points as opposed to when I just follow points.

I'm pretty much just following points. I do play hockey once a week, but because it's such an intesive activity, I get an extra 11 points for the day from that.

Girls, I just started back and I'm having a really hard time staying to my 20 pts a day. And I know I get Flexpoints, but I have a weekend coming up. I'll try to divide them evening, but it gets really hard. Especially living right on campus, where fast food is close, cheap, and easy!!!! :(

Try to find zero point snacks like pickles or other vegetables to keep you filled during the day. Remember to drink your water too. Water will fill you up.

I blew the rest of my points today on lunch. I had a low point lunch, only 4 points, but I was still so hungry I eneded up getting fish and chips :( . I still have some flex points left, but I hate using them.

I have to get weighed in tomorrow. I think I'll have to skip dinner or it's cuccumber and lettuce for supper tonight.

Weight watchers also has a vegetable soup that I found that has zero points. It is really yummy and easy to make. It also takes the urge for food away.

Yes it does. I have the recipie but I haven't tried it yet. I don't really like vegetable soup so I'm a little weary.
