Adelphean
Has everyone received their's?
I have been in Utah for 9mths now. I changed my address prior to moving, but i still haven't received one. I have even contacted EO 3 times. All three times they have said my address is correct. THe last time the wonderful sister said she would mail me back copies that i missed this year, but I still have received NOTHING. I'm bummed. That is my only way to know whats going on in the world of ADPi.

If it makes you feel any better I just got mine last week...
Whats been frustrating for me is that I went through the steps they tell you for change of address and they still send it to my old address. You would think when you update your address on PO that it goes to their databases directly and also as an advisor when they tell you to send in a master chapter profile with any updates, that they would change your address when you tell them it has been changed.
Just my 2 cents

I haven't received mine either and I'm getting impatient. I think one of the pictures I sent in is in it. I'm gonna give it until Monday and then I'm gonna call EO about it.
And I know EO has my new address because I've gotten letters concerning DG sent to my new address.

OK, if this is a dumb question, just laugh and answer my question.
Do active members receive copies of the Adelphean? I asked my daughter this question last year and she said she would find out but has never given me an answer. I've never seen a copy of it in her dorm room or apartment but, then, it is hard to find anything in her room!
Thanks,
FSU Mom

Yep they are supposed to- sometimes it takes about 6 months after initiation to get started- and usually the collegians put down their parent's addresses as the mailing address- if she hasn't received then she should either go online and update her mailing address or call Executive Office to update her address... as you'll see from this topic, some of us are missing ours too...

As I posted in another thread, I received the *current* Adelphean, but never received my copy of the last issue (Summer 2005). I'm kinda bummed, because I'm curious as to what all was in there!
Keeping my fingers crossed that you all get your current issue SOON!

Welcome back - hope you had fun at sea!
You most certainly should have received your Adelphean by now!! Are you possibly receiving it at home, and not hearing about it?
Just seeing how many people haven't received it yet, or (like Noosh & me) received it late, maybe there should be a place on Pride Online where it says:
-If you haven't received your Adelphean by (date), please click below;
-To make sure your Adelphean is going to the right place, please confirm your name, address, and chapter.
Worth mentioning, ladies?

I know some other GLOs have their magazines in pdf versions on their website...perhaps we can suggest that they do the same and put them on pride online?

I think they have looked into doing this as well but the cost was $$$$- so they were considering taking stories from the Adelphean and posting them in the word doc form and placing those on the website... not sure where they are with that right now...

I definately think it is worth mentioning.
I also think somewhere should be a timeline of when we should expect to see it. I think there is just such an inconsistency of when the magazine is being delivered that it is hard to gauge when you should get yours. Plus, this might alievate some of the phone/email traffic from sisters complaining about not receiving their Adelphean.
Now, I haven't checked yesterday's mail yet, but I'm giving it till Monday and then I'll be calling EO on Tuesday.
Also, if sisters are receiving their Fall issues in September and here it is almost November and I've not received mine, makes you wonder why their is an inconsistencies of delivering it. For arguments sake let's say they send out 150,000 Adelphean's. So if they send them out all in one week, sisters should receive their copy in 2-3 weeks (if out of the country, probably longer, depends). So to me it seems kind of off if some sisters are receiving their copies 6-8 weeks before others are.
