National HQ in Indianapolis
I read somewhere that the reason so many fraternities and sororities are headquartered in Indianapolis is because they give them a large tax break. Does anyone know the particulars on that?

Okay, I did a search on Google, these are the GLOs HQed on Founders Road, Indianapolis, IN. This may not be all of them, but here's a few:
Alpha Gamma Delta
Tau Kappa Epsilon
Sigma Kappa
Lambda Chi Alpha
Alpha Xi Delta
Delta Upsilon
Zeta Tau Alpha
Kappa Alpha Theta
Theta Chi
These are the ones that I found from my search...if anyone knows more, feel free to add it on!

Yes, the Delta Upsilon International Headquarters are in Indianapolis, among many others, because of the tax breaks they give non-profit organizations. There are a lot of other non-profit organizations there besides greek orgs.
IowaHawkeye -- I go to Miami University. DZ, Phi Delta Theta, Beta Theta Pi, and Phi Kappa Tau headquarters are here.

Kappa Delta HQ is also in Memphis and I think AOPi is moving theirs to TN too, but not in Memphis. I think AOPi is dedicating it soon. I could be wrong, but I just heard that at Something of Value.
I don't know why HQ's are in cities together, I would assume they all choose a central location in the middle of most of the chapters.

There are lots of GLO's HQ in Indianapolis. There are 2 main reasons:
1)Tax breaks for non-profit organizations
2)Indianapolis is considered "the cross-roads of America"... it's pretty central, close to several other cities, and lots of major interstated cross through the city.

Brian's right. My Fraternity's Headquarters is located at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. We were founded there on August 8, 1839.

Iowa,
Thanks for the compliments! When I started pledging last September, our website consisted of about 4 pages, and most of it was news from over a year ago. So while pledging I decided to show the chapter how dedicated I was and that is what turned out.
I'm afraid I don't know Susan Wagner, sorry. I'm in a few of the pictures, the newest ones being the Puddle Pull photos. If you go to the link below, I'm in some of the pictures, specifically the ones named du6.jpg and du7.jpg -- I'm the guy in the front pit sitting there staring down our opponents who can't be seen in the picture
Here's that link:

AOII has been located in Brentwood, TN, a suburb of Nashville, for many years. We just built a NEW International Headquarters facilty that was dedicated on April 21.

Kappa Sigma's International Memorial Headquarters is located in Charlottesville, VA - just off the UVA campus, where our first chapter (zeta) was founded. I actually visited during spring break - it was pretty amazing.
