They are all awesome!! I think you should post in each sorority's forum giving them your name and contact info so they can call you and ask you to join!!

Here is what I know:
Alpha Phi - They are ALWAYS wearing these shirts that have a capitol A on them followed by a circle with a line throgh it. I mean, what's up with that?
Delta Delta Delta - These girls are always wearing silver, gold, and blue clothes.
Delta Gamma - Maybe these girls like to go sailing? Or maybe they all have Navy boyfriends, but for some reason, they always have anchors on them (like necklaces, and on their clothes...).
Kappa Delta - I've heard about these girls!! They are always doing community service work with Girl Scouts!!
Kappa Kappa Gamma - KKG's must be REALLY smart, because one of their symbols is an owl.

Re: Sorority Reputations?
Here you go:
Alpha Phi - Has good and bad chapters
Delta Delta Delta - Has good and bad chapters
Delta Gamma - Has good and bad chapters
Kappa Delta - Has good and bad chapters
Kappa Kappa Gamma - Has good and bad chapters
Oh...I get it...ALL sororities - Have good and bad chapters
Damn, thanks for posting tulip...I have now become enlightened. Thank you for helping me with my breakthough. You're the best friend a girl could ever want. I'm just so overcome with emotion. I think I'm going to cry. You win GC.

Some 17 year old is clearly college shopping right now.
I'd suggest posting questions of this topic in the correct forum, which would be Greek Life. Of course thats already been suggested ad nauseum on here. But then again, this really isnt an acceptable topic to ask anyway. Seriously, what do you really expect people on here to say? The tri-gams are sluts? Get real.
I dont know you, but I dont think greek life will be a good fit for you. See, part of greek life is working with others, thinking on a different level, and following instructions to complete a task (be it the new member period or a service project). Since you seem to be having trouble with posting, common sense and tact, I dont see the whole NPC application/letters of rec/recruitment process working out for you, much less membership.
You wanted honesty, right. Well, there's a big ass glass of it for ya. All 32 ounces... supersized for free.

I don't think any chapter is a "bad" chapter. Some chapters are very successful in recruitment, while others struggle. Some chapters are very successful with academics while others struggle. Some chapters are really good at socializing or athletics while others struggle. Every chapter has things they do well and things they need to work on.
All of these groups have a lot to offer. As ariesrising said, check out their websites.

Ok, "bad" wasn't exactly the word I meant. But I was trying to work at the level of intelligence of the OP. My guess was that opposites was something she would be working on at her current level: Hot/Cold, Up/Down, Good/Bad. "Struggling" may be too many syllables for her.
I really need to stop being so mean, but really, is it that hard for a new poster to read a few posts (Especially the "Dumb Newbie" thread that's stapled to the top) before asking ridiculous questions??

All the national sororities in the NPC have great national reputations. Look at their sites and see for yourself.
They all have a lot of chapters and within those you'll find some that are strong and huge and amazing, some that are struggling, some that fall in the middle. Depends on the school, the Greek climate at the school, a million trillion different things. Some people like smaller chapters, some people like bigger.
Asking people on a message board won't get you any useful answers, because the only way you'll know which one YOU really like and fit with is to meet the members at your own school and see.

I think this is the part where the OP stopped reading your post, because she went ahead and asked in the GL Forum anyway.
Apparently she missed this part of the post:
