And in contrast...
Our cute 'country' houses at Moravian College...
Alpha Sigma Alpha tho this is no longer the house they use...college has moved them around the corner but the style of the house is similar
Alpha Sigma Tau (perhaps the prettiest exterior)
Sigma Sigma Sigma
and my beloved Zeta Tau Alpha (our crest was taken down for the summer while this pic was taken.)
Delta Tau Delta is in a house similar to this
no picture to be found for the Sigma Phi Epsilon house...

Thank you! I'm very proud of it, and we worked so hard on it. The best part was the first formal recruitment that they held in August, just after we moved in.

i saw someing about a chapter not being able to have a house because of a law about no more than a certin amount of women in a house its like that in my school. there trying to change the law. we were going to get houses but we has a conoly become a full chapter our ADPi and now we have to wait till they have the money to buy at house. we have a dorm hall for all the girls in each chapter its cool.

TKE house at NCSU
We are neighbors with the ZTA house on the previous page at NCSU, as well as with Chi Omega and AGR. Our house looks more like an office building, but it's definitely the nicest, newest thriving house at NC State (completed in Fall 2002).

UGH. Why do these rumors persist? Everblue, this is not true. Everyone gives this excuse for why their school/chapter doesn't have greek housing, and it's just not the case. There are reasons why some chapters don't have houses, but the "brothel law" is not one of them. Sorry.

I think she means that ADPi just installed a chapter on her campus and now "they" have to wait for ADPi's House Corp/Board to have enough money to buy/build a house before other chapters can build a house, apparently in the Red Light district.
Took a while with my decoder ring, but that's the gist of it.

LOL on some of the above posts.
Brothel Laws went by the wayside as spitting on the sidewalk.
Many times schools as was said above, do not want Sororitys in their own houses.
But the one that surprised me the most is William-Jewell, N W of the K C Metro area. Fraterities for years have had very nice houses-4. LXA, SN, KA, and Fiji.
Now there has been an announcement that for the first time in the formaly Babtist affiliated Un. will be allowing Females in their own homes and will help finace them.
One has to give them Kudos for a little front running thinking.
Oh, the school is around 85 % Greeks now.

Wow. Everblue1037. Sweetie, please do yourself (and Delta Zetas) a favor and copy your messages to Word and spell check them before posting them. Poor spelling and grammar at this stage of your life are things you must fix. Use the tools - they can help you to say what you mean to say. When you write to a message board, you are trying to communicate - but, if people don't have any idea what you are trying to say you are failing to communicate. "Conoly" I think you meant "colony". You mention ADPi, but you say you are a Delta Zeta. Your post was VERY confusing. Why don't you come back to the boards and fix it? We'll be kind, we promise.

New Pike house under construction at Florida State. It only holds 60, but at 40,000+ square feet it will be the largest fraternity house in America. See: www.fsupikes.com

Hello,
I have a photograph of the Tri-Delta house at USC, if you mean the University of Southern California. I do not know how to post the photo, however.
Nearly all the fraternity and sorority houses are on one street, 28th Street. Because of the climate the flower displays in front of the sororities are wonderful to see.
