Trivia
Okay, ladies:
A bunch of other GLO's have trivia threads, and I am jealous. I am therefore starting one. Feel free to post questions; I can't do it all myself.
Who, of the following, would NOT be considered a legacy?
a) My granddaughter
b) My half-sister
c) My step-daughter
d) My niece
I know it is a hard one, but I hope you will at least guess.
LIOB,
Amy

They're all legacies except for the niece.

I believe we have 132 active chapters and 2 colonies. I am going to guess that we have more chapters in Georgia than anywhere else.
These are both guesses though.

You are right about Georgia...I counted a slightly less amount of active chapters. I'll leave it open if anyone else wants to guess

Umm, Gina DeBlasis and I don't remember the other.
Good to see this board active again

New Question
According to Phi Mu lore, which of the three founders took the initiative to get the group together?

I'm going to guess Mary Dupont Lines since she was the first President of the Philomathean Society.
Another question: What year was the badge design that we wear today first introduced?

Good guess! You are correct. I have no idea what year the badge is from, though.

the badge is from 1904...when we actually adopted our Greek letters. We dad have a badge back in 1852 though which was made out of a $20 gold piece and designed by one of the charter members...Sarah Amelia Bardwell Wright
