Adoption or Foster Parenting?

Has anyone thought about adopting a child or becoming a foster parent? I just finished ready Finding Fish (The Antwone Fisher Story) and it made me think about it somewhere down the line.

I've considered it. I think that if I it ever happened that I'm not able to have kids I would adopt.

Question adoption or foster parent

I'll consider adoption if my husband and I are unable to have children.

I think I would adopt. There are so many children out there that need a good family as well as the love/attention. It is so unfortunate that there are people out there that adopt or foster children just for money and don't give a hoot , don't pollute about the children!
I am so tired of hearing about child molestation/abuse. There are a great amount of foster parents out there that just do it for the money, not for the well-being of the child.

Personally, I would like to adopt a child as well as have 2-3 of my own. My fiance doesn't want to adopt because he believes the child will grow up asking too many questions that we may not have the answers to. I told him not to worry, and to leave that all up to God. The child will grow to love you and truly appreciate what you did for him/her. Questions will come indeed, but we would just have to do the best we could and raise the child in a loving environment.
