Angry Strolling, Party-Walking and the Like

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a college party thrown by another BGLO. Sorors and I road tripped to this event to show support to our fellow Black Greeks because there is not a lot of love on this campus. Needles to say that that party was an event in itself. First off I will not name names of the other BGLO's that were in attendance but there was a lot of garbage to say the least going on at this party. I witnessed fellow Greeks purposely cutting off other Greeks, I witnessed Greeks trying to stop others from strolling, by bumping them, pushing them, and starting catty side conversations. Sorors and I weren't having the games not after a road trip so we bounced not before letting some Greeks know that their actions were way beyond tacky. I hadn't seen this type of open disgust in years and my question for today is has anyone else ever witnessed this kind of stupid assault by Greeks and if so how were the situations taken care of?

I've seen these events handled two ways. When I was fresh off of those burning sands I stared down another member of a BGLO because he almost walked through my party hop. I've seen fights almost break out when the Sigmas on my yard interrupted the Ques during atomic dog. I've also seen girls get down right violent when it comes to that kind of stuff. Older now I know it is best to turn the other cheek because an infraction makes my organization look bad, makes my chapter look bad, makes my school look bad, and makes me look bad.

i have seen this "rudeness" at a homecoming stepshow. a BGLO that was not even participating in the stepshow was LOUD and had nothing constructive to say the entire time. i feel that some people miss the point about being greek.
we are all here for one common purpose which is service to others.
once we get pass the 'childish' attitude that no other sorority/fraternity is due the same respect that you think yours is entitled to for whatever reasons, then we can get down to real sisterhood and brotherhood.
we all join our GLO for different reasons but the fact is that we are all connected to each other because of our purpose.
