Netflix for Purses

Ummmm, well I guess if we can do it for movies, we can do it for purses. Count me out though.

We have 3 membership levels to choose from:

If you're a Trendsetter, you have access to everything Trendsetter
for $19.95 a month.

If you're a Princess, you have access to everything Princess and Trendsetter
for $49.95 a month.

If you're a Diva, you have access to everything, our Diva, Princess and Trendsetter handbags
for $99.95 a month. (As a Diva member you also have access to our Couture Collection, you
will be charged an additional monthly fee per Couture bag while it is on loan to you.)

This is pretty successful. I saw an article about it in the New York Times Sunday Style section about a year ago. For the money you pay per month you could buy you're own bag (depending on what kind) after a few months...it's not economical at all.

sosinceredst, you are correct. i am a big purse buyer and have been since i was 14. most of my buys have come from the outlets. thank goodness i found them vs. this website. i mean really, you can buy a Prada bag at Sam's Club for about the cost of Diva level (not that i have one, i'm not into Prada).
why buy into a gimmick? it's not worth it

~thinking~ now if LV had an outlet, i'd be dangerous...

LV does have an outlet..in ATL and Williamsburg, VA.... those are the ones I know of...

i promise you, they don't. LV insists on staying exclusive so they won't go that route. i've been to a ton of outlets (Williamsburg, Worcester, South FL, etc.) around the country and they don't exist.
Soror Steeltrap will back me on this. just an FYI, i don't want folks lookin' for nothing...

Yup, LV won't go outlet. I've read that it has excess merchandise destroyed at the end of a season. Now I've seen some genuine LVs at various consignment stores, but unless you really know the brand, I'd be wary of it.
