A few years ago, I was working w/the Lambda Chi chapter @ NIU to help them establish an alumni association (sadly, they're also gone for other risk management-type reasons). During that year's Homecoming celebration, I was impressed by the SigEps.
While the LCAs were trying to defrost frozen burgers on a Weber grill, the SigEp alums had a pig roast w/a live band on their front lawn. At that time, the Greek Life team told me that they were one of the "got-it-together" alumni groups.
Bottom line: One of the sad things about all of this (besides the obvious) is that these guys have had a lot of alumni support. Now, it's all for naught.
Interfraternally,
Bill F.
