ZTA on Survivor
Woke up this morning, read the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and it turns out that a girl I went to high school with is on this new season of Survivor! Her name is Jenna, here's the link: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivo...of/jenna.shtml
She's a ZTA from Duquesne University, although she transferred to Pitts so she's not active. Her luxury item is a zeta crown- nice in a symbolic way, but I think personally I would've brought something a little more useful. She's done a lot of modeling and stuff. It says she's a zoology major- but we don't have zoology at Pitt so i have no clue.
It's weird that a girl I used to play with when I was little is on Survivor. I'll keep my personal opinions of her to myself at the moment (to be fair I haven't even talked to her in at least 5 years), but I don't really see her as being tough enough to really make it far- she seems to be a little high maintenance.
Guess I have to watch the new season! Go South Fayette (the area that she and I are both from!)

Hey Zeta girls,
What good is this crown going to do this woman on a show like this? Personally, I'd have brought something useful! But good luck to the Greeks on Survivor.
Dave is an SAE from RPI in NY and Rob is a Sigma Chi from SUNY - Oswego.

Amber was in a sorority, too. I think Kappa Alpha Theta, but I'm not sure. There was a newspaper spread about her sorority sisters cheering for her in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

It seems like most of the contestants are bringing rather unpractical items... I mean, come on... massage oil? a soccer ball?

Maybe the items they are bringing are to help them emotionally rather then physically. But I could be way out there. Good luck to all of them!!!

There was also an.....
....alpha chi omega on one of the Survivor shows -- forget which one -- just recall that her try-out video kept focusing on her behind in a teeny thong -- one of my best friends is an AChiO and was mortified!!!

I am from Duquesne University
I'm at Duquesne,
wow... I don't know if the Duquesne Zetas know about this... I haven't heard anything about this. I'm at school now so I'll be sure to ask them about it.

They used the massage oil to cook fish with. Interesting to say the least.
Jenna seems a little...catty. Then again - stick a bunch of women together, do we really think that none of them will meow once in a while?
The women really kicked butt tonight! They still don't have a shelter though. I'm addicted to Survivor. I admit it - I need a 12 step program.
BTW, GPhiBLtColonel, that would be Sarah. Really wish that image would get outta my head.

ACK!
I knew there were two sorority women on Survivor but had forgotten which two when I watched last night -- I honestly did not care for Jenna even if she is a sister in NPC -- I mean really -- boiling her thong undies instead of helping get a shelter built -- PUHLEEZE!
So far, I am rooting for Deena and Christy and Joanna amongst the women and Roger, Butch and maybe Alex amongst the men...
I too am addicted to Survivor MTSUGURL - and I have been from day 1...and I am not ashamed to admit it!! No 12-step program for me!
