C’mon, CG. Post it. The mods will just delete it if they think it’s inappropriate. Mr. CG created it too AND turned it into a CG meme? so I know it’s funny as shit. Dude is funny as hell LOL! Just post it.

I swear, RFK Jr. talks like he’s trying to win a conspiracy theory talent show. He gives off a “I skimmed a science book once and now I’m qualified to ruin Thanksgiving.” He’s such a moron.

With autism, hmm… I’m not sure if it’s genetic with humans or not. I do know with my patients, we’re seeing like certain behavioral patterns in some animals that make us think there could be a genetic component involved. So like, we might see littermates who both exhibit unusually repetitive behaviors, like excessive licking or a strong fixation on specific objects, more often than we'd expect in the general population. I also know that genetics plays a big role in how an animal's brain develops and how their senses work. So, if there are genetic variations that affect these areas, it could potentially lead to differences in how an animal processes information and interacts with its environment.

I mean, we don't have specific diagnostic categories like we do for some other conditions, it’s just that the patterns I’ve seen across related animals suggest that there's likely an inherited tendency towards these types of behaviors. It's something we as vets keep in mind when we're evaluating an animal's overall health and behavior, and it can sometimes help us understand why certain animals behave the way they do.

I’m not sure if that’s the case with humans but animals are used to study humans in various fields of research.

Wasn’t able to watch the race last weekend but I can’t wait until old Ferrari days return and change current reality. Go Ham. Go Ferrari.

Honestly, I just noticed the branding. Hilarious. He doesn’t drink so he just told me he made it up. He said it comes with a signed Toby Keith bandana and a complimentary truck bed flag pole kit, lol.

No, that guy was younger, around my age — late 30s early 40s?

I totally said it backwards. He's saying autism is caused by environmental elements, etc. and there are clear genetic links. He makes it sound like kids go through something at age 2 that causes it, but that's just when it becomes obvious because of other developmental milestones. But also, very few are what he's describing- unable to work, unable to get married and pay taxes? Some of the brightest and best are on the spectrum. Temple Grandin among the most famous. He has no education in anything medical. How is this RFK's son? How is the family dealing with this? They need to cut him out of the family money coffers.

Lol. Yeah, I figured he made it up. You do know about Toby Keith’s racist ass, don’t you? That’s why your husband is associating him with Trump supporters. At least I’m assuming that’s the joke association.

Yep. We see similar patterns in animals, like inherited tendencies showing up at different developmental stages. And just like with people, labeling an entire capable group as incapable is just wrong on all levels. RFK Jr. is just another profoundly, under-informed idiot confidently sharing his ignorance like it’s a TED Talk. Are you at all surprised by his comments? I mean, he works for Donald Trump.

Well, I don’t listen to country music. But honestly, I’m probably the wrong person to ask because I hate rednecks as much as I do Donald Trump and anything else he’s associated with. I mean, the camo, the lifted trucks with gun stickers on the back, the fake patriotism, and the deep fried bigotry wrapped in “family values”…. Um, it’s a no from me.

So when it comes to Toby Keith? I don’t know if he was racist. But if he wasn’t, he did a fantastic job marketing to people who are. I mean, dots aren’t hard to connect, so connect them. Those who cannot connect the dots, you’re either ignoring them, or you’re part of the picture.

Am I being biased? Yep, 100%. But I also have a very strong, unapologetic bias about those people. I don’t pretend to be neutral because I hate redneck culture for what it celebrates and excuses. As far as what my hubby meant, he just connected the dots. It’s not exactly a puzzle when you know what you’re looking at. Know what I mean?

That said, those people can sing and talk in all the coded language they want — flags, freedom, “values”, the whole script. They’re not fooling me. I know exactly what I’m looking at.

I agree. The only people who like being around rednecks are rednecks. It’s not just you that can’t stand those mofos.
