Talking Kappa Alpha Theta

Wondering how my sorority is perceived around the nation? Likes/dislikes?

Hello sammie!

Pretty name by the way I love the Thetas here at my university! There is a so-called rivalry with the Kappas (I'm a Kappa) and the Thetas--but regardless we are friends w/each other.

Some of my closest friends are Thetas--they're all beautiful, friendly, and intelligent. They define "sisterhood" real well. We do have a rivalry around Rush Time--a friendly one though. Nevertheless, we help each other out during the entire year

Theta is a really strong house at the University of Arizona. There are a lot of really pretty girls, yet they seem to be really diverse as well.

Thumbs up

Hi Sammie--

Theta is a wonderful chapter at Indiana University, where I went to college. They are the oldest sorority on campus there, and KKG (my sorority) is 2nd oldest by just a few months, so Kappa and Theta have a sort of bond.

The girls are really smart (#1 or #2 GPA on campus every semester), very athletic (always in the top 5 Intramural rankings and Little 500 races), and so friendly, down-to-earth, and outgoing.

They have a beautiful old house, which was recently renovated, and they have their own workout room/gym with Cybex machines and everything in the basement! Gotta love that! (No wonder they do so well in Intramurals, huh?)

Theta was definitely one of my top picks during Rush!

Panhellenically,

imsohappythatiama

Theta just colonized on our campus this past fall semester (University of Central Florida). So far, they have done a great job. They are a wonderful group of girls.

I worked with a Virginia Tech Theta when I was at school and she was very cool and sweet. She mentioned to me once about this cute serenade they would sing to the Betas. We often swapped stories and had a great time. There wasnt a Theta Chapter at my school. We have Chi O, Alpha Phi, AOII, Gamma Phi Beta, Zeta, Phi Mu and I hear that Alpha Xi Delta has started a chapter recently.
