I don't think it is your Nationals to blame who are slow.
I think in all likelihood, your badge was likely made by Burr Patterson and Auld ("BPA")and I presume that they do the engraving too. Don't forget that BPA makes your fraternity's badges and nearly
every GLO's badges too....so just think every collegian who was initiated in North America + plus engraving....the reality is that it would take a while, not to mention that you got your badge and there was no mistake on it.....it would be a big drag to receive your badge and they messed up and got your initials or chapter wrong or something!
Also, most GLO's will not give the order for your badge to be created until they receive the documentation that you actually were initiated (and that you didn't leave school, drop out of the fraternity, etc.). So that could hold things up, too....
Be happy that you received it, and it was done
accurately!
But, yes, I do know that feeling of FINALLY RECEIVING your badge! woo hoo!
