Will Putin attack the Ukraine?
Your thoughts?
I don’t think he’ll do it. He’d have done it by now.

He doesn't need to, but he does enjoy psychologically toying with the world.

I think he will, but is drawing it out to terrorize the Ukrainian people. Agree with Cheerio.

Yeah, seems like he’s playing somewhat of a chess game.

And we get to hear of the Imminent Invasion every single hour on the hour thru the media from Biden's mouth until he does.

Friends of ours are suggesting that this is a smoke screen to draw the world's attention over what's really happening.

Ugh...one more example of evil in this world. I think about the people who will die, and for what? So some dude gets his name in the history books?
You can explain it all in psychological, or sociological, or political terms, or whatever else, but it all boils down to evil.

Thoughts That Keep Me Awake When I Should Be Sleeping
Were Putin to suddenly attack the U.S., how might the followers of Trump respond? What might Trump tell these persons to do? Does the U.S. even have enough properly trained military personnel to legitimately respond to Russian evil?
Will the U.S. Selective Service registration for men soon grow to mean a mandatory few years training for our young men? And will selective service grow to include training for women, or just their registration?

I'm not sure why you've decided to throw this in. It seems that you're implying that a group of people are entirely too stupid to think for themselves. That's similar to how people claim that liberals are kinda brainwashed and sissy. If I said, "If Putin attacks, you can grab your soy mocha latte and go hide in the basement with Biden", would that be fair? These types of sentiments are what serve to further divide Americans and I don't understand why [you] insist on division.
From what I can tell, "Trump supporters" and "conservatives" are very pro-America and very pro-second amendment. Regardless of what the former President were to hypothetically say, I am convinced 100% that "Trump supporters" would fight for our country.
Would you?
(And please don't make assumptions about me. I'm a non-partisan voter.)

Are you serious???? How many military personnel do you think we have? One person per state?
According to Google, we have 1.4 million and Russia has 1.5 million. Now take into consideration the size of our countries, the quality of equipment, and quality of the training.

What makes you think this? The selective service hasn't been used for 50 years. It wasn't needed for the last few wars, not even after we took a direct hit in 9/11. According to the USO, "...181,510 Americans enlisted in the ranks of active duty service, and 72,908 joined the enlisted reserves in the year following Sept. 11". ( https://www.uso.org/stories/2849-why...n-the-military)
That's 250,000 people who volunteered after 9/11. So, even if we came under attack, don't you think we'd have a wave of people stepping up?

I suppose you haven't been following the news. Including women in the selective service was proposed last year and ended up getting voted down.
Look, I don't mean to be so hard on you -- your post comes off almost as scared. (???) Maybe you are afraid that Russia will nuke us? I'm not going to say that will never happen. Maybe it will, who knows? What I do know is that we are one country TOGETHER. Cowering and pointing fingers at each other is not going to help. If we get attacked then it's not time for Trump this and Biden that....it's time for TEAM AMERICA.

I'm no Trump supporter, but I am surrounded on all sides by them here in the reddest State in the Union. If Putin was to suddenly attack the U.S., the vast majority of Trump supporters, I think would be as zealous in their support of our defense of our country as anyone. Trump supporters would be first in line at the recruitment centers.
Trump himself isn't going to risk any of his current support to protect Putin. Trump isn't a dude who sticks his neck out for anyone. Trump was on the air early into the invasion telling us what a genius Putin looked like because he believed what just about everyone else believed, i.e., that Ukraine would fall quickly and without much of a fight.
He was just trying to be on what he thought was going to be the right side of history.
I think your post unfairly cartoonizes Trump supporters.

As far as U.S. military personnel numbers, I think we're fine. We've seen the professionalism and effectiveness of the U.S. warfighter over the last few years. At killing people and breaking things, the U.S. has no equal. At occupying territory? No, we currently should avoid doing that. Russia has been much more effective in occupying territory because they have established themselves by not being hindered by human rights or international law.
When you've seen U.S. operations, you've seen smooth logistics, uninterrupted supply chains, and a high level of competence. This Russian invasion of Ukraine has comparatively been an absolute joke. Right now, we have this ominous 40-mile convoy heading for Kyiv, but it hasn't progressed in over a day because it ran out of gas?
Russia is apparently incompetent at prosecuting a war. The only thing we have to fear is nuclear weapons, which I imagine wouldn't be used unless NATO directly attacks Russia.
