Greetings!
We would like to inform you that on November 16, 2002, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Alpha Chapter and Step Afrika will be hosting their 2nd Annual National Youth Step Conference on the campus of Howard University. This event will consist of two components focused on providing each student with a keen understanding of the history, benefits, and significance of stepping in African-American culture. The first component of this conference is educational and will include workshops, instructional classes on step, and a tour of the campus. The second component is the Step Show which will take place on the evening of the conference and will include step teams from Washington, D.C. and the surrounding area.
Step Afrika and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are dedicated to serving our community and contributing to the efforts that will eradicate issues that face people throughout the world. As a result, we are asking that all of the attendees participate in this year’s conference community service project by bringing new books to donate to area charities that teach others to read.
