Oh what a feeling....

TOYOTA!!!! Well girls, I did it, I just (as of last night) bought a 2002 Toyota Camry. It is semi used only because it was a Toyota sales representive's car for just a few short months and had a little over 5,000 miles on. I think this helped on lowering the price a little. This makes me the first owner though.
Anyway, to describe it: Lunar Mist Metallic (Metallic Silver) exterior, interior light grey cloth seats, nice stereo system, theft alarm, intermitent wipers among other goodies. I have never seen a car that is so quiet. So far I love it! Lisa

Woohoo! Congratulations, Lisa!

Personally, I love Toyotas. They're great to drive, they're reliable...and they're good on gas!

Have fun!

Thanks gals! I'm excited about it. It was between Altima and Camry for me. I decided on the Camry because I just wanted to try something different this time around.
I was excited about it at work today and told my co-teachers about it. Then, I made up songs. (I'm a preschool teacher) For instance: "Weels on the Bus" easily turned into "Wheels on the Camry".

Sarah, A sun/moon roof was an option I was looking for. Unfortunatually, I could'nt find one with the color I wanted used. So, my option for a sun roof is still a possibillity because I can get one installed from the Toyota body shop fairly inexpensivelly. Maybe in the near future I will look into it.

Gosh darn! (Use your imagination for more colorful explotives here!!!!!!!!!!)
You all will never believe what happened to the brand new Camry. I bought it last Mon. evening and on this past Fri. evening I had a bit of a fender bender with it. No one was hurt, but it was scarry. Scrached paint all the way down the side of the car. I'm taking it to the Toyota body shop early tommorrow a.m. I have to live without it for a week or so, so I will rent a car. It just stinks, that its my brand new car. UGGGGGG!

Oh, poor Lisa, I feel for you!

Just to make you feel a little bit better, let me tell you what happened to my Toyota when it was 3 weeks old. I had to park it outside overnight, and there was a really strong windstorm that night. A freestanding basketball poll-thingie fell right onto the side of my car, and took out the drivers-side mirror and the driver's side window. I saw it the next morning, and I broke down into tears.

Long story short, I took it to a wonderful body shop that made the car look good as new. You would never have known that anything happened to it, and I guarantee that you will not know the difference once you get yours back!

The important thing is that you are safe and that the car wasn't totalled. Even so, we can always replace the car...but we can't replace you!
