I couldn't get the picture on eBay, but I have also come across Phi Sigma Sigma pins on ebay up for auction. There is something very wrong about that. So sad.

Hello,
Just the other day my "little brother" who is a Kappa Phi Alpha (local fraternity) found a Phi Sig t-shirt at the Salvation Army for only 25 cents. He bought it for me because he could not believe someone would give it up. You would think they would pass it along to their "little sister". BUT A PIN! Wow is right, that is ten times more surprising and also depressing!

Shannon

I was thinking that maybe these items end up for sale because they use to belong to girls who disaphiliated. It's still very sad, though. They should just pass these items along to other sisters or turn it in to the chapter and let them decide what to with it. How sad.

I know were told to never give letters to charity, we either pass them down or make them un wearable... so no one can wear them. I told someone from CO about the pins on E-Bay and things, and Im waiting for a response! I know when someone disafiliates from our chapter, we get back everything...
When will people learn?

Having a pin for sale on ebay is awful but it could be a lot worse. I was just searching for random things and I came across a phi sig teddy bear and other sorority picture frames...but the real shocker is that someone was auctioning off a fraternities ritual book! I know that very few people get their hands on a ritual book wether for formal meeting or initiaion or whatever.....it is terrible what some people will do.

Hey Ladies- I just saw on ebay that someone is auctioning off their jeweled badge. The guard pin says it is from Gamma Zeta chapter. It was up to $95 the last time I saw it. It bothers me to see these items being auctioned off. I hope the person who gets it is a Phi Sig so she knows how to appreciate it.

Some people sell them to a place called vintagefraternitypins.com but most of these are so old that they were probably from someone's family after they passed on. I can't say that I agree with it, but I can't say I disagree with it. At least someone can buy it and have a peice of their sorority/fraternity's history

What is wrong with these girls?! Just giving away their badges as if they meant nothing. My guess is that the girls from that chapter might be upset about something. There has to be some good reason because there is something VERY wrong with selling your badge on E-Bay.

Some chapters engrave the backs it all depends on your chapters funds.
