Western Kentucky Phi Mu's in fatal accident

Saw this in the Houston Chronicle this morning...

3 Sorority Members die when SUV Crashes

A sport utility vehicle filled with college students skidded out of control and crashed into a rock wall Saturday, killing three of the five people inside. Kentucky State Police said the women, all memebers of Phi Mu sorority at Western Kentucky University, had been on their way to a sorority even in Louisville when the vehicle crashed on snow-covered Interstate 65....

My thoughts and prayers to the Phi Mu's tonight...

(updated to note that this thread exists in the Phi Mu forum...sorry for any duplication)

How horrible for the chapter to have to deal with losing three sisters. I will keep them all and their families in my thoughts. What a truly tragic story...

I know this thread hasn't been commented on in a long time but I was just looking at Phi Mu stuff online and came across this thread and it brought tears to my eyes. I am a part of this chapter (though I wasn't at the time this happened) and it just made me realize how I believe all Greeks have a special bond. The last woman that knew these three girls will be graduating next year. Unfortunately, this semester we had another woman pass away in a car accident. Also WKU's chapter of KD had a woman pass away in a car accident also. We appreciate everyone's prayers because I believe we all know that is a rough time for everyone.
