quota & total

I have 2 questions:
  1. How is total set?
  2. What effect did the Green Book changes have on recruitment (that is - did it change how quota was set or release figures?)

I understand how quota was set under the old rules and bid matching and all that, I was just wondering about the changes from (I think) 2005 - what was changed?

Total - the max number of members a chapter can have - is set by each school's panhellenic.

The changes in the Green Book had to do w/ release figures. But quota is still basically number of rushees signing bids divided by number of sororities.

The release figures have to do with who's getting invited back to the rush parties - not who gets bids.

So basically it's up to each campus to determine what total will be and when that needs to be reevaluated?

I know what release figures are, I am just wondering how they are determined CHANGED with the new rules.

Yes, it is up to each campus to determine total.

As far as the new calculations go, I don't know the specifics but they require, I believe, at least 3 years of previous statistics.
