I'm on AAC at Washington Gamma (University of Puget Sound) and we just finished formal rush last week. The chapter pledged 21 (quota was 18) and was the first chapter to fill. This was our first year in our house (previously we shared a dorm with KKG) and it was amazing to see rush in our beautiful new home! The 3rd day and preference parties were the best I have ever seen as an active in the chapter or as an alum...the personal stories the chapter members shared during our pref ceremony made me cry, it is so nice to see that Pi Phi means so much to our little sisters. (I'm soooooooo cheesy!
It snowed after the preference parties and I live almost an hour away, so I ended up staying the night at the house so I could be sure to be able to make it to bid matching the next day. It was SO GREAT to get to just "hang out" with the chapter rather than just being there for official AAC business...the girls were so sweet about offering their beds and letting me hang out in their rooms and watch movies. I have the best job in the whole world
