Recruitment Story Request: American University

I don't know if this has been done before, buuuuuut.....

I kinda want to hear an NPC recruitment story from American University in DC.

A girl who once volunteered at my nonprofit recently went Phi Mu and I congratulated her on FB, but I didn't want to be all weird and ask for a play-by-play. I attended AU for grad school and was always interested in how their system worked, as Greek life was present, but not stifling, and there seemed to be a good mix of people who support Greek life and people who were sort of anti.

So in case some new members at AU are lurking and happen to read this..... yeah, feel free!

You know, that's funny... I was just wishing I could read a recruitment story from my school (though it's not AU)! So no, I don't think you're weird for posting that. :-)

You probably should've specified that you want a real story, not a trolled up version

I feel like I've read one on here with a Phi Mu ending...hmm, I'll be searching.

ETA: Sorry I was wrong, there is a GCer who belongs to that chapter but she didn't write a story so maybe I'm imagining it...

Please ask Meg from 2birds1blog.com to do it. I think she's mentioned being in a sorority, but would probs be way too cool to write the story. Which is too bad because she went to AU and is hilarious.

$5 says an AU thread magically appears tomorrow, written by someone who "has never posted here before, but just really feels like sharing her story" or is "a regular poster, but made a new username to share her story."

I swear, there are a million Phi Sigma Sigmas that live in that huge brick apartment building on Massachussetts Ave just south of the campus. I almost run over one about every day (UNINTENTIONALLY, I have to add) on my way home from work as all of the students love to run out into those crosswalks that are around the roundabout.....

LOL @ unintentionally. That is the most congested roundabout EVER. Or maybe I am remembering way back in the day when they were constructing that new building at Mass and Nebraska.

No construction, but still a clusterfuck. I see people almost get hit daily. And not all because of me!

I've actually been thinking about writing mine, so maybe I'll get on that.
