X-Men 3: Dissapointing

Saw the movie last night and I was very dissapointed. I expected great things and unfortunately the character development was next to nothing and the movie just fell flat. Overall, I give the movie a **.

Hey everyone, wait in your seats till the credits are over, there is another scene at the end of them.

Thanks for the tip, James and the review, moe.ron

Going with the bf and some friends to see it this weekend. Hope bf isn't disappointed (though I think he had already heard mixed reviews of it).

Me and my boyfriend are going this weekend. I'm a HUGE X-Men fan (dork) and so is he, so hopefully we'll like it...

Although Hugh Jackman could probably read the phonebook to me and I'd enjoy it!

Best line in the movie by far. I can't say I was dissapointed, because I really wasn't expecting much to begin with.

I liked it, but it wasn't worth the price of the ticket. I would've been happy paying $3 on PPV.

I liked the movie...but I think the die hard comic book fans will be disappointed with some of the things that happened in it. Heck, I was a little disappointed with some of the things done.

It was my least favorite of the 3. An hour into the movie I was looking at my watch waiting for the story to get good. In my opinion, the story was just not there this time. It was all about action. The story was kind of jumbled. Since this is supposed to be the last one, the scenes at the end confused me since they point to a future.

I was never into the X-Men, but saw both previous movies, so I knew the basic story. I enjoyed the movie, it went quick. But I guess those that know a lot about it might not like it because things are changed a lot.

I know in my group no one went in looking for a good story, we just wanted to see the effects and all that.

And the scene after the credits wasn't worth sitting through the credits for, IMHO.

I did hear they they cut like 40 minutes off the movie before releasing it. One would suppose that a lot of the story went onto the cutting room floor and we may see a director's cut on the DVD.
