10,000 by 2010
Hopefully everyone knows of PIKE Nationals goals in the next couple years. What stopping us from doing it? Nothing in my mind!

Bobby,
I'm with you...KSUPIKE, please clarify. I think this has to do something with 10,000 pledgings or initiations by 2010. I am pretty sure we have somewhere over 10,000 undergrads already so that's not it. I could be wrong.
This really got my imagination going though...10,000 girls, 10,000 keg parties, 10,000 intramural wins...

At CEC, they gave us a goal for all PIKE Chapters to have 10,000 pledges a year by 2010. Right now we are at somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,500.

Yea.....10,000 pledgings by 2010...
this stems from that fact that our numbers have somewhat remained stagnant from when we were on top with recruitment....now, another fraternity, previously somewhat unknown in the realm of recruitment, had a 30% surge in pledgings in the last ten years while ours was a mere 4% increase. That fraternity boosted from roughly 4,000 to more than 6,000 pledgings...
being that PIKE is more than well known for all of our success with recruitment, i think 10,000 is definitely a viable goal...

What is National doing to support this effort? 5,500 to 10,000 - that requires we get away from doing "business and usual".

I think with 10,000 pledges a year there would definitely be a good pool to select qaulity initiates from.

Kevin Knaus
I know personally, that Knaus and his pledge class were the ones that started spring recruitment at KSU. I think he has alot of good ideas, we just need to work on it at and individual chapter basis. Right know for our chapter we have 17 guys signed, which leads all other KSU houses, and we are looking to break Knaus record of 47 recruits. I just think it's all about the drive to get the goal done. I'm a personally beliver in if you set your mind to it, that anything can be accomplished. I think it's a very realizable goal. It would be badass also, from CEC the other recuitment chairs I met were all badasses and Pike has a great mindset when it comes to recruitment, I think we can do it.
