Coffee Time! :-)

Coffee Time! :-)

Who else loves a great coffee?

I could use a little more, if you know what I mean.

Yes, this is a fundraising message. Trying to help fuel GreekChat with coffee, at least for now. I do envision a time when posting threads like this is no longer necessary.

It's been over half a year since the last coffee thread, so probably reasonable for me to post another one now.

In the past half year I've been working on GC nearly every day, probably more work than what I've done on GC in the past decade. And still the list of things to do seems endless.

I would be most appreciative to anyone reading this who chips in to buy GC a coffee at https://buymeacoffee.com/greekchat

Coffee price is 5 bucks. Buy one or however many you want to help support GreekChat.

Thank you!

Hmm... maybe we can turn this into a general coffee chat thread.

Who else is a coffee drinker? I drink a bunch of brew every day.

I bought some more coffee.

Woohoo! Thank you, John! You’re the best.

Oh, and I forgot to add my coffee post. I generally don’t drink coffee at home, unless it’s at night and I’m watching tv or lounging around the house. I meet my friends every Saturday morning for coffee and gossip, which is my favorite coffee and coffee shop.

I’m not a coffee person at all…

However, at my last job (overnights) one of the owners bought this coffee for us and it was pretty amazing. It’s Kicking Horse Grizzly Claw. Now that it’s getting cold again, I might have to order some of that! It’s kinda like “coffee for people who don’t like coffee.”

OMG. I had absolutely no idea and now feel pretty bad about my timing of posting this coffee thread fundraiser for GC.

For now, I'm going to call off this "buy me a coffee" fundraiser for GC and redirect your attention to the Hurricane Helene thread that I just posted. I'll figure out things for GC.

Hurricane Helene appears to have been a near absolute catastrophe in some areas, as far as I can tell. Some people are suffering terribly and I'm sure they need the help much more than what I need for GC. If you know of any Hurricane Helene related fundraisers, charities & etc that you feel we should support, please post them to https://greekchat.com/gcforums/showthread.php?t=248830

And now, regarding coffee... the real kind. I drink a lot of coffee every day. Black coffee. Stopped putting sugar & cream in my coffee years ago. Partly due to some videos I watched by Dr. Greger of NutritionFacts on YouTube. I probably drink a bunch of coffee also because of one or more videos by Dr. Greger on that topic as well.
