University of Michigan rush - what to wear?

I've looked through these forums a bit and have a little information - but what is the attire? "Class Attire" is suggested - but what does that mean? T-shirts? Would jeans, boots and a tank top work for the first few days?

"Class attire"? I swear, these descriptions get goofier and more pointless every day. Just say WHAT IT IS, Panhel/Greek life office!!!

Gemma - If it's hot enough for a tank top, it's too hot for boots...and vice versa. If you're wearing a t-shirt, make it a fitted one that flatters your figure, not one you just throw on. There are some other people on here who are more familiar with exactly what you should wear.

some people wear pajama bottoms or what we call cheer shorts(those short shorts that cheerleaders wear when they practice) to class and i don't think (although i do not know for sure) that either of those choices would be appropriate for recruitment anywhere!

i say call the greek life office-you don't have to tell them who you are- or ask an older friend in a UM sorority or an UM sorority alumna who may know.

I've helped our U of M chapter with recruitment as an alum. For mixers most women wear jeans and dressy t-shirts with flats. Other options are casual skirts or "business casual" black or khaki pants. The pictures on the recruitment facebook site should help: http://www.facebook.com/UMichSororityRecruitment2011

By "class attire" I thought they meant related to Class of 2015! I thought it sounded pretty awful - so I just wanted to make sure! Thank you for your help!
