Cool ADPi Shopping Mall!

As suggested, this thread is dedicated to non-ebay items which you think your ADPi sisters would be interested in. Maybe you see a Sisters plaque or blanket, maybe some violet dishes, maybe lion bookends. Anything ADPi related is welcome!

Please include the website (or 800 number, if it's in a catalog), and any other information to make it easy for your sisters to shop. Okay, credit cards ready? SHOP!!!!

Just so we don't lose the items that we had previously found and discussed, I found the link to that thread:

lilly dress with lions

I saw that the new Lilly Pulitzer summer prints include a "Golden lions" print in a light blue. I showed this to an Adpi friend and thought I'd share it with you. Could be a great rush dress!

see www.inthepinkonline.com if you want to order it online.

I get tons of catalogs, and one is Nature's Jewelry, at www.naturesjewerlry.com. This is costume jewelry, not the good stuff, and none of the items below cost over $10. They have items for almost EVERY sorority, but here's the ones I found notable for ADPi's:

JG8-774 - 3" high violet porcelain box (perfect for pins!)

J41-106 - Lion zipper pull
J41-105 - Lion key ring

JG6-906 - 2" high magnolia porcelain box:

Since I posted this in the ebay thread I thought I would post it here as well...

There are some really wonderful adpi ornaments out there that can be purchased on http://chandlerygifts.com/ and are by Christopher Radko

I've been checking out Gift Mart and saw these nametags. We use them for DAR, and I think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread! There's a magnet (so you don't have to put holes in your clothes) and a pin (if it doesn't matter). These would be a GREAT investment for any chapter!! There are three styles, in gold, silver, and black.

Also, I saw the Christmas Ornament for 2005 - it's Diamonds and Violets - hard to explain!

Interesting... the new 2005 ornament is slightly different from all the previous ones. Does anyone know where I can get the first one that ever came out or even a picture of it, so that I know what I'm missing? That's the ONLY one I don't have!

adpi*nurse, I want to say that the first ornament was the crest, but I could be wrong. I'll have to check that out! BTW, Buffy says thank you for a very fine belly rub!!

In the meantime, has anyone been to IKEA lately? They have 14" square azure blue pillows for a huge 99¢/each!! I have a bunch, and another sister & I are going to add a ruffle to each, possibly for Bid Day. Oh, if you go to see them, they may look flat, but they fluff out well in the dryer, set on (surprise!) "fluff".

IKEA also has azure blue throws, 67"x(oops!) 40"?, for $2.49/each. I got a couple of those to see what I can do with them; Buffy's going to a "Bichon Bash" next month and needs to take a giftie or two for Small Paws Rescue. I'm thinking of either putting paws around the edge, or at least one in each corner. I'm sure that a diamond could just as easily be sewn on each corner or around the edge!

I'm just loving the fact that they're so inexpensive!! The other colors are much more!
