Myra Vedder Foxworthy passed away earlier this week. She was one of two Alpha Gamma Deltas to serve as NPC chair. (The other was Louise Leonard.)
Myra truly "lived with Purpose." After her NPC chairman's term she continued as NPC delegate. I was on the Alpha Gam Panhellenic Committee which she also chaired.
About 1981 my husband and I were at an antiques show in Joplin, Missouri. I heard someone call my name from a vendor booth. It was Myra -- she and her husband had an antiques business called The Fox's Den. It was such a surprise to see a Grand Council member out of context!
