Well I say Cuh-RIH-bee-inn, but I think the movie (and the ride at Disney World) says it the other way.

Also, I say CARE-e-mel.

CAR-uh-mell, although the "uh" is not really pronounced, so I guess I say CAR-mell.

CARE-ih-mel and Care-ih-BEE-inn.

Ah, but this opens up another can of worms. How do you pronounce "pralines" and "pecans": PRAW-leens or PRAY-leens; Puh-CONS or PE-cans?

PRAW-leens and Puh-CONS.

If it's just the nut, Puh-con.

If it's a pie, it has to be a PEE-can pie (gotta love the south)

Also, I agree that I live in a house under a ROOF, while my dog says, "Ruff." Furthermore, MILK (like "mill" with a K) comes out of cows. There is no such thing as melk.

What part of the south are you talking about?

In all the civilized parts of Louisiana (i.e. the New Orleans metro area) its Puh-con pie.
