rushing again?
is it worth trying to re-rush again in the spring if you didnt make it in the fall? after the first night i only had invitations back from two sororities, but made it all the to pref night with both, but i didnt recieve a bid in the end, i am still really interesting in joining a sorority, but i am not sure that my chances will be much improved in the spring, does anyone have any advice?

I know a couple of girls who went through rush once, decided to drop (or were released by all the houses) and went through again and received a bid the second time around. I think it depends on your school and the strength of the greek system. Do you feel like you clicked with any of the houses? If you did then I say go for it. Think about how you can be memorable to those houses and let your personality shine. But just don't put all your eggs in one basket. Maybe it would be worth it to check out other social groups/clubs on campus to see if there is a possible fit there too! Hope this helps, good luck!

I went through rush twice, after not getting a bid in the fall.
So, I think that giving it a second chance when you know you're really interested in sorority life is a great idea. You may regret it if you don't...
I'm so glad I tried again, I didn't rush AST in the fall, but now that I've found them I couldn't be happier. Give it another try, it could be the best decision you ever make.

Manda's a great success story!
If you were invited to pref night, they're interested in having you as a sister. I say go for it -- especially if it's COB, because that can be comPLETEly different than formal rush.

I say yes, try rush in the spring, the fall of my freshman yr. I went through fall rush only getting two invites and then getting cut within the first couple days, and then after that wasn't sure about greek life, tried some other orgs. and then later realized I wanted to still pursue greek life, so I worked on my grades, and didn't give up, and today I'm a new member of adpi.

If you want it, try try try! At the very least, you'll meet some cool people.
