New and interesting fundraising idea
Hey there,
I am new to this boards but a website I am working with just opened itself to charities and non-profit organizations which might be a very interesting new fundraising option.
The website is Varolo. At Varolo you can sign up your non-profit organization for free and recruit others to support your cause. Your supporters will donate a bit of their time watching video ads provided by Varolo. Varolo get paid by international companies like Apple to tailor the ads to interested users and they pass a percentage of their income to their users or in this case to your charity.

Choose the user tour and watch the introduction video to learn how it works. By the way, entities in Varolo are not required to watch ads to get 100% of their village earnings. After the video, select 'create a free membership' and register your organization. Check the “register as an entity” box underneath the field where you choose your village name and enter entity type, name, and tax exemption number. For a charity, you should enter your 501(c)(3) number.
Watch the orientation and a few ads to get to know the program. The orientation will also tell you how to recruit the people supporting your charity.
In my opinion, using Varolo for fundraising has three great advantages. First, you don't have any investments. In fact you can set it up right now in just 5 min. Second, your supporters can decide how much of their time they want to donate ranging between just a few minutes a week to 15 min each day. And third, with the internal email system you can talk directly to all of your Varolo supporters to build a personal connection with them and to inform them of more options to help your cause.
If you have any questions regarding Varolo, I am happy to help.
Cheers,
Xmas
