"Growing Pains" Season 1 on DVD

I caught only the last 5 minutes of the Growing Pains cast reunited on Larry King last night. I guess they were on to promote the release of the complete first season on DVD. I will be buying that! Did anyone catch the show last night? What were the highlights?

But did that kid go on to win a lifetime achievement award at age 30? I think not.

He shamed the family by masturbating on the big screen so we lost touch with him.

As long as we got each other
We got the world spinning right in our hands
Baby you and me
We gotta be
The luckiest dreamers who never stop dreaming...

Off the top of my head so I don't know if it's stop or quit.

One of the best TV theme songs of the 80s, IMO.

Was Growing Pains or Family Ties the show that had an episode where Tom Hanks punches the son after they call him out on being an alcoholic.

I know Growing Pains was a good show, BUT PUT MR. BELVEDERE ON DVD!!!!

That was Family Ties. Tom Hanks was Meredith Baxter Birney's brother and punched Alex.

Yes Mr. Belvedere was a great show but dammit give me Facts of Life!!!!!

I saw the Larry King show! I was happy to learn that they were all doing well (even Ben mostly) but I didn't hear if they mentioned how Boner was.

Sylvester Stabone!

My favorite episode has to be the one where Carol's BF Sandy (Matthew Perry) was drinking and driving, got into an accident and died.

That and the one where Ben's calling those 900 Phone Sex numbers.

That was a good one!! My favorite was when Jason's mom was getting remarried on the cruise and the whole family was invited. Poor Mike, was going to finally tell his family that he was in love with the babysitter (in fact, I think they planned on getting married) and she dumped him. I can still remember the end of that episode when he is reading her goodbye letter. Good thing for Mike and Kirk Cameron she dumped him or else he wouldn't have ended up with Kate, the actress that Kirk married in real
life.
Wasn't that actress (the babysitter) written off that show because she posed for Playboy?
