Remember The Titans? Sheryl, the daughter of Coach Yoast (portrayed by a very youthful Hayden Panettiere!) was a Delta Zeta! Somebody told me about the Hayden connection, and I found
this. The following is an excerpt, but I urge your sisters to read the whole article:
"[Sheryl] was a cheerleader all four years at TJHS and was crowned Homecoming queen her senior year. While attending Virginia Tech, Sheryl poured her heart and soul into the Greek system; she served as Pan-Hellenic chairperson her senior year. She was a Delta Zeta sorority sister and was voted a "Golden Heart" in Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Upon graduating from Tech in 1984, she worked in the sales department of a D.C.-based temporary job placement agency.
"Sheryl was married in November of 1990 and then teamed up with her husband to help improve upon his business in Washington, D.C. She gave birth to a son in February of 1993 and to a daughter in December of 1995."
Seems that her legacy is close to enrolling in college soon herself!
