In a local Fraternity but interested in joining a Historically Black Fraternity

Hey I just want to know if it was possible to leave your local fraternity to join a historically Black Fraternity, if there is no legal document proving you were a member of that local organization

BluPhi - the best information will come directly from the website of the frat in which you're interested. Traditionally, if you are affiliated with any other of the Divine Nine, you can't join another. If your local frat is just that, local, your chances increase. But it's best to contact the frat. Most have membership email contacts on their websites.
