Studying Abroad
Hej KD ladies!
I'm currently studying abroad in Sweden. Where have other KDs studied? Anyone else study in Scandinavia?

I spent one summer at Cambridge University. It was amazing!
Hope you're enjoying Sweden.

Not to horn in on your board, but I've had an idea for a while now for my own organization which you all might want to replicate.
Is there a way to have an international email group for all sisters living overseas? Not just those studying abroad, but foreign service officers, diplomats, military, and their wives?
I think about this a lot because at least three of my frat brothers will be going overseas in the next few years as foreign service officers and our only non-Caribbean international chapters are in Germany and Korea.

Senusret,
Glad to see you here! That's a great idea - an international email group. I know KD has (well, used to have - I'm not active in the group anymore, so I can't comment on its current state) a very active Yahoo! group that sisters could contribute to. I know there was one very active member who lived in Malaysia. Perhaps a Yahoo! or Google group might serve your purpose. It would at least give your something temporary to access while you're investigating all the ins and outs of a more formal setting.

The yahoogroup is still an active one although not as active. Come on and join us. Karen in Malaysia returned stateside last year.
Make sure that National knows that you abroad. An E-mail group would be good. There are not enough KD's in any one area to form any kind of an active group.

I spent 8 weeks in Europe last summer (6 studying in Pamplona, Spain and 2 visiting family in Wiesbaden, Germany). It was a wonderful experience and one I happened to share with two girls from my chapter, though they were both a year older than me, so we didn't really know each other too well.

Studying abroad
Hello everybody!
My name is Evgeny, I'm studying in Finland, in Kymmenlaakson ammatikorkeakoulu, Kouvola. It is very interesting to study here. As for me, I like work in team and communicate with other students. This unversity could offer such oppurtunity. I'm so glad to study here!!

I spent a good bit of time in Oslo, St Petersburg, and lived in the UK for a little over 2 years. Enjoy yourself!
