November is...

Sweeps Month.

This is a very important time for television. Specials are shown to give a certain broadcasting company higher ratings.

Shows to look forward to in November during "sweeps":

November 13- Michael Jackson's TV Special on CBS
November 14- The Bernie Mac Show- Fox
November 15- Victoria's Secret Fashion Show-ABC
November 17- 25th Anniversary of "Rocky"-NBC
November 18- "Facts of Life" Reunion- ABC
November 20- " Jennifer Lopez" Concert- NBC
November 23- N'Sync in Concert-CBS

Watch out for the talk shows. They usually have more outrageous themes.

FYI

I wanted to tell yall about my voting escapade yesterday. Ok, I went to the church that I voted at in the past two elections. I get there, I see no flags. I'm like, ok, where the flags at? Then I notice there's only one car, but it was like 5:30pm, so I figured it was slow. Get to the door: locked. I'm like, ok, what do I do now? So I drive around the corner to an elementary school. I figured, I can always vote at a school. I get there, and it is EMPTY!!! The only people that were there were the 4 people working the polls. Why when I walked in, they cheered? LOL I tell them what happened at my normal voting poll, and they were like, "oh you were at the church? Then you're in the right place now." They look for me in the list, not there. I'm like, ok, where do I go? So this man takes me to a wall where theres a map with only a SELECT FEW streets and tells me to find where I live. Ok, I'm not good with maps. I have to sit them on a desk and turn them so I know which direction is which and everything. I felt so pressured, lol. I finally find where I'm at on the map, and he tells me where to go vote. So I get BACK in Sparkle, and off we go. I get to the street, passed right by where I was supposed to vote, because it was in a Senior Citizen Residence Center (). I finally get in there and I was in the right place. I ain't get back home until 6:30. Now, can you even believe that? The lady at the poll said that EVERYONE who came in had the same story. Why didn't they send out something in the mail to tell me that my poll had changed??? I was like, I guess that would be too much like right. The first thing I thought of was Dade County.

Ideal,

That is absolutely rediculous but a wonderful way to disenfranchise an entire neighborhood. I wold report that experience to your board of electors, local paper AND local tv stattion.
