New Exec Board

We just did installations of our new exec board last night. We normally wait until closer to Founders' Day, but, we had a few position become open due to brothers going 3rd Degree. We retained the same President, but have a new V-P, Sec, Tres, Sent, and Inductor. I was wondering when you guys do Executive elections and installations.

Fraternally,

When I was in school we always did elections and installation right at the beginning of spring semester in January. Usually elections one chapter, installation the next. Now I think, the chapter does it a week or two before finals. The chapters on the campus I advise (AKL, Phi Psi, SPE, Sig Pi) all have their elections in November and install either before the end of the semester or as soon as we return after break.

Elections are held just before initiation and our positions are stagnated--only three officers are elected at a time and the position is for one year--this way at least half of the board is experienced

Chairmen are not elected--they are selected by the officers
