Here at Beta Sigma (Ball State University) we just ended recruitment with the annual FIJI Isle Bash. We always have it a week after the formal recruitment period as a reward to the brothers for all their hard work and a celebration for the new pledges. I know most chapters have it at the end of the year, but that always proves to be a busy period with final projects and philanthropies going on.
After partying all night several brothers visited Purdue University and the brothers of Lambda Iota. The Purdue FIJIs have a reputation of being really secretive, but were very welcoming of their Beta Sigma brothers. I also got a chance to meet Bill Miller. He's the former Ritualist of the International Fraternity and current PL for Phi Gamma Delta at Purdue.
On a completely different note the new chapter house at Psi is complete and looks amazing. I'm really looking forward to visiting the brand new house which still holds true to the historical symbolism of the former house. You can find pictures by going to
www.wabash.edu and searching FIJI.
