Building a Brotherhood

Hey, I was just wondering what thoughts some of the guys had on building a brotherhood. Exactly how did it happen that you were no longer just a group of guys doing activities together but a group of really close brothers who shares as much as possible with each other?

Also, how do you prevent clustering in your chapter? We have started to get clusters of guys who hang out exclusively with each other outside of events. Anyone else have this?

And you can post a response that is general or talk about specific events which you guys did.

With any large group you're going to end up with smaller sub-groups... It's just important that they not forget they are still part of the larger group. As long as you have that and there is real brotherhood between all I see no problem with having a few brothers you're closer to than the rest.

I think the most important part is in how you handle your new members. You should integrate them ASAP into the main brotherhood (if that is possible in your group). Ours participate in just about everything we do.. So when (if) they're initiated they are already part of the group.

Thumbs up

Rudey, KTSNAKE gave some great advice!

When you are small, it rest on all of the Guys Shoulders! When you have more is spread out!

My Chapter is going threw this! One can get burned out fast!

You need a common goal for something to bring all together at a point!

It usually boils down to the 80 - 20 syndrome. 20 do the work while 80 dont do squat!

You NEED a common thing that will bring them together or go to the GTFO Rule!
