What's the best advise??

Hello to everyone...its been a while since I have been on GC, but I am glad to be back. I was wondering if someone would give me some helpful advice.
I am a in my last year of college(6mons. left) and I am very interested in your organization. My college life has not been the best of times, and because of this, I didn't pursue much about organizations in general. I have talked to a undergrad advisor back in my hometown about a Grad. chapter and she was giving me some wonderful advice about what I should do when I graduate in Dec.
My question is, I am only planning on staying in my home town a year before I get married and then I am moving to Ga. I will be moving a lot since my fiance is in the Marines and I don't know if I should pursue Grad. if I will be hopping from state to state. This is something that is true and deep in heart and I know that I should go for it no matter what, but it is ok to not be at a certain chapter all the time?
Thanks for anything that you can tell me

Question Why the rush?

I personally would not seek membership until I knew I could devote the time/energy/money to the organization and chapter. It seems like the next year or so will be busy for you so maybe you should wait to pursue membership when you know you are stable and able to give the amount of time Zeta requires. JMHO

Zeta has been around for 84 years, she ain't goin' no where

Hmm...

The truth is everyone does not have a "settled" lifestyle. And thats not a bad thing. Variety is the spice of life! And since you do not "pledge" a chapter...you pledge your commitment to the organization, no matter where you end up...as long as you are doing the work...its all good ;-)

If you decided to pursue membership now...just keep in mind, the expectation is you will immediately transfer into a graduate chapter. You would not be the first to do so. But like Epitome1920 said, the truth is...Zeta has been around for 84 years...we are not going anywhere.

My chapter just recently crossed a 40 year old woman...and guess what? She is the hypest neophyte ya ever did meet!
