THE 1CITY YOUTH PROJECT, is a non-profit youth organization that has provided free activities for youth for the past 20 years. The organization has served more than 2000 kids in our 20 year history with very little financial support. Now in this 20th year, our goal is to raise enough money to expand our program offerings and keep our program open and free to any child who needs something positive to do! 1City currently has the following clubs: hip-hop dance, praise dance, fashion design, toddler models, tutoring, visual arts, cheerleading, step team & basketball and currently serves 100 kids. They are looking to start a drum corps, a football team, a chorus and other clubs to attract the interest of local kids in Central Brooklyn.

The goal is to reach
2000 votes before December 10, 2009. If we are successful, the organization will receive a $25,000 grant and will be able to offer more programs to meet the interests of kids across New York City!!!
Local Greek Organizations are also invited to look up The 1City Youth Project and become a friend of the organization. We would like to list everyone who voted for us as our sponsors in our anniversary journal coming up in May, 2010.
