Lambda Chi Zeta

Much has transpired since I have been on G C at my Chapter.

We have a new house and was added onto three years later to make it the largest house of any GLO on PSU campus.

We are now over 760 + members (actives Brothers).

Purchased new Ritual Equipment by the Alumns added a flag pole, front yard sign with metal C of A. Putting in a new wooden fence on two sides of property.

Won many GLO and school awards for outstanding chapter on campus, homecoming, itrermurals, and student participation.

New FaceBook page: https://www.facebook.com/LambdaChiZeta

Very proud of them!!!

Celebrating our 45 th Year of being LXA!

Congratulations on all of your chapter's success. As a founder of my own chapter which is now really coming into its own, I can relate. I believe my alma mater just moved into your school's athletic conference and has been beaten handily for the last couple years by your football team.

Well, well, well, look who is back.

I could have chosen a song by Elton John for your triumphant return but I guess this one will have to do:

Yep, Kevin, Gorillas have been a power house for years in the MIAA! It is a tough conference to come into! One of best in Div. II.
Glad to hear your S N chapter is doing well! Great experience being a founder and something you will never forget!

45 th Year

Lambda Chi Zeta (Chapter) held its 45 th year celebration 3-29-2014.

While not the largest turnout of Alumni, it was one of the largest with 5 of the 16 original Beta Chi local Brothers in attendance with 2 having passed.

What my boys did for the weekend was outstanding and I could not be more proud!! For a family tree, one of them said you are our Adam which found kind of funny, LOL!

They have done so much work on the not so old house including a new wood fence with L X A letters facing Broadway, the main street through town and across from campus.

LX Z is growing and is now the # 1 on campus, Wahoo!

So very glad I was able to attend as so special for me.

Congratulations, Tom, and the men of Lambda Chi Alpha. I regret not going to Gamma Rho's 50th, and I doubt I'll be alive for the 100th. These anniversaries are important; when we are (ahem) younger (I prefer "less seasoned") we don't think as much about milestones, but with the passage of time, we know that they are not to be missed. I am sure the active men in the Chapter will talk about you guys for years to come.

Aside: somewhere I have a Lambda Chi lavalier. That's as far as the relationship ever got, but I kept the lavalier, although I did offer to return it. I think I should mail it in to your headquarters!

Keep it, it is yours!

These kids still talk about some of the storys they hear and cannot beleive them, LOL But they are all true.

Started a Westerm Week to go up against S X Derby Day. Guys in cow boy out fits and carring real guns on campus. No way to do that today, HAHA!

Had a western town facade and TKEs started shooting flaming arrowsd into it! Ah, the good old days!!

Did streaking The Oval which runs inside the main campus and streaking is what it means DAH! Nekked of cousre.

Cannot keep up with anymore but still fun being with them!

Got a standing ovation when I was introduced which is embarasing to me. But I did so I guess I desearved it. But took a whole lot of other guys to make it work. I just did the ground work and had the idea was all.

Go back when you can to be with your chapter, let them know you still care and are a part of them!!!

Fall recruitment.

While 70 sent in want to join cards, we selected 23 outstanding young men who were felt to have the heart and souls to be our Brothers.

Also did our Watermelon Fest a great time was had by all on the lawn of the house. Raised a bunch of food for local food bank. A G D won the over all points and awarded a trophy!
