I need some new ideas for Philanthropy night during recruitment...im VP of Recruitment on Panhellenic and we need a change!!! Does anyone have any ideas! I would really appreciate it!!! DZ LOVE~

Making cards for a nursing home/hospital wing is always a nice idea. I'm not sure what you've currently been doing, though. One year my chapter made turtle shaped IV bags for kids in a local hospital wing. Each turtle was different and had a name. This was before I joined, but I heard they were a hit! The turtles were cut out of felt and were decorate with more felt, ribbons, and glitter pens. Hope that helps!

Thats kind of the thing we do now...we want to try something totally new...because a lot of people find philanthropy night so boring...My CCD wants to do something like a progressive philanthropy, but I have no ideas...

Well...right now we make the IV bags...but this year, since im on panhellenic and in charge of recruitment...we want to incorporate something that could be done with the three diff. sororities...cause everyone hates philanthropy night...or anything just to add some spunk! haha...SOMETHING! lol

Is there maybe something around your school that could need painting, like the benches around a quad or something?

Not a bad idea....we have a smaller campus though....and the idea that our advisors want to try is like...something progressive...like for example...a birdhouse...(stupid, but just an example)...then in the dz room, they'd make the bottom, ASA room, the roof, and the Gamma phi beta room, decorate the rest..soemthing like that....so im just at a loss for ideas...
